Quickly respond to internet leads

If you fail to respond to online leads fast enough, they will likely move on to the next broker that does. Being the first responder to more leads translates to more sales, which is exactly what you want.

Stay organized by adopting a lead management system

Regardless of what business of sales you’re in, you need a system to keep track of your leads, follow-ups, completed sales, and contacts. This kind of system can send out automated emails to make sure customers are happy with the product you’ve sold them, or to touch base with those leads you need to follow up on. A system like this keeps you as professional as possible, and is invaluable when trying to increase your sales.

Always follow up on leads

Brokers might bombard a customer once she submits her information online, but once the dust settles and you’re the only broker who actually follows up- it’s not hard to see who makes the successful sale here and who doesn’t. Don’t immediately give up if you don’t make a sale at first, follow-ups are critical.

Why should anyone by from you and not from the other brokers contacting them? You need to think long and hard about what makes you unique, and why someone would benefit from buying whatever it is that you’re selling. If you can identify your niche and effectively communicate that to a lead, you automatically put yourself a cut above the rest.
